It has been years since the refined folks of North Scottsdale heard terms like "s**-of-a-bi***" and "public union bi*** boy" in the same meeting.  In addition, Mr. Little charges that the Little family has been threatened, his business clients coerced and even the firm where Mrs. Little works had been a target for negative financial consequences if Doug Little did not drop out of the campaign. 

His response - "I will never give in to threats and intimidation."

Look for more specifics in the coming days, but let it suffice to say that the calm campaign for party leaders has been forsaken for a more vigorous battle.

Arizona Party Builders? Which Party?

With the fiasco surrounding the Republican Victory Fund still fresh in our minds, we couldn't help but raise an eyebrow when we learned that two candidates on a slate running for the Maricopa County Republican Committee voted against a resolution to censure Senate President Steve Pierce, and House Speaker Andy Tobin for their involvement.

Why would Lisa Gray and Rene Lopez vote against the resolution? Were they not concerned about the underhanded actions taken by Pierce when he allowed Rich Crandall to benefit financially using the RVF money during a primary campaign? Did they not care that Tobin tabled union bills after receiving money from unions during his campaign? Or, just maybe it was because Tobin contributed a glowing endorsement for her husband, Rick Gray? Is there a potential conflict of interest if a County Chairman is married to a member of the legislature?

This made us begin to wonder if there were other irregularities about their vague campaign promises and shiny façade. Especially when we read that Lisa Gray has the support of "Kook" Queen Laurie Roberts. In fact, Roberts hopes that Lisa Gray wins the MCRC election.

As a pilot program, we will divert one terrorist and place him in your personal care. Your detainee  is scheduled for transportation under heavily armed guard to your residence in Toronto next Monday.

Ali Mohammed Ahmed bin Mahmud (you can just call him Ahmed) is to be cared for pursuant to the standards you personally demanded in your letter of complaint!  It will likely be necessary for you to hire some assistant caretakers. We will conduct weekly inspections to ensure that your standards of care for Ahmed are commensurate with those you so strongly recommended in your letter. Although Ahmed is a sociopath and extremely violent, we hope that your sensitivity to what you described as his ‘attitudinal problem’ will help him overcome these character flaws.

Perhaps you are correct in describing these problems as mere cultural differences. We understand that you plan to offer counseling and home schooling. Your adopted terrorist is extremely proficient in hand-to-hand combat and can extinguish human life with such simple items as a pencil or nail clippers. We advise that you do not ask him to demonstrate these skills at your next yoga group. Please advise any Jewish friends, neighbors or relatives about your house guest, as he might get agitated or even violent, but we are sure you can reason with him. He is also expert at making a wide variety of explosive devices from common household products, so you may wish to keep those items locked up, unless (in your opinion) this might offend him.

Ahmed will not wish to interact with you or your daughters (except sexually) since he views females as a subhuman form of property thereby having no rights, including refusal of his sexual demands. This is a particularly sensitive subject for him and he has been known to show violent tendencies around women who fail to comply with the new dress code that he will "recommend" as more appropriate attire.  I'm sure you will come to enjoy the anonymity offered by the burka over time. Just remember that it is all part of 'respecting his culture and religious beliefs' as described in your letter.

Required Reading for AZ Legislators

Breitbart.com today runs a story ( http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/01/08/Economy-Grows-Revenues-Increase-After-Texas-Slashes-Spending ) that should be required reading for all of our Arizona Legislators.  The story is focused on the unexpected growth in Texas Budget revenues and the underlying reason for that growth. 

In 2011, Texas was facing a $21 BILLION shortfall in its general fund.  To address the issue, Texas took a different course than Arizona.  The Legislature and Governor passed a "cut-to-the-bone" budget.  No mortgaging state owned buildings in order to keep the public employee union leaders happy.  No fancy financial fudging using 'baseline'  instead of 'zero' budget procedures.  No business as usual.

And the result?  Texas not only eliminated the shortfall, revenues increased by $8.8 BILLION more than projected one year later.  AP now reports  “unemployment now is at a four-year low of 6.2 percent, sales tax receipts are skyrocketing and money is pouring into state coffers behind a new energy boom.”

If Arizona wants to become more than a fly-over state for businesses fleeing California and their fruit cake Legislature and Governor, it must reduce the tax burden on businesses.  The governor and many legislators are already talking about increased state government spending this year. 

The Legislature begins its work next Monday, the 14th and the appointment calendar of every legislator is already clogged with meetings with taxpayer-paid lobbyists for the education industry, the taxpayer-paid lobbyists for the cities and towns, the taxpayer-paid lobbyists for the counties, and the taxpayer-paid lobbyists for the state agencies. 

If the taxpayers of Arizona want a booming economy, lower unemployment rates and lower taxes across the board, it is time for them to personally contact their elected officials and demand a cessation in the status quo.

Huppenthal describes his A.S.S.

John Huppenthal, Arizona's Superintendent of Public Instruction, tonight introduced his plan to replace the AIMS test with his new Arizona State Standards (A.S.S. --  REALLY, that is what he has called his new brain dump).  Supposedly this will improve the level of student achievement in our state.

In what was a shocker to everyone in attendance at his community Q and A Forum at Grand Canyon University, Huppenthal showed his absolute dearth of knowledge on the main education threat facing our state and country - Agenda 21.  While many people may not have intimate knowledge of all the details that are incorporated in the UN and Obama Administration ideological hemorrhage, for the State Superintendent of Public Instruction to not even know the term is especially quizzical.

Of further concern to those in attendance, Mr. Huppenthal stated that he fully embraces Common Core Standards - the same standards that have been embedded in places like Chicago, Washington, DC and other liberal bastions of socialism.  Huppenthal eventually let slip the reason he ran for the office - the retirement benefits seemed to top the list.

His positions are an embarassment to the Republican Party and could do for our state k-12 system what Barack's policies have brought to the federal budget  -  bankrupt ideas instead of monetary bankruptcy. 

It is time to find a qualified person to run against and defeat Mr. Huppenthal in the August 2014 Primary Election.  This office in the wrong hands will do more damage to future generations of Arizonans than any other statewide office - including the Governor's office.

Please flush your A.S.S. down the John, Mr. Superintendent and implement real education reforms like total parental choice in schools for our students.

The Fifty First Arizona Legislature

Arizona, 

A red state where every statewide office is held by a Republican for the first time in the history of the state;

A red state where Republicans now hold every county wide office in Maricopa, Mohave, Pinal and Yavapai Counties for the first time in history;

A red state where Republicans hold every county wide office with the following exceptions in Cochise (1), Gila (1)and Graham (2) Counties;

A red state where Republicans hold more municipal offices than ever before in history;

has now returned to a purple legislature due to leadership that placed personal power and future office aspirations above Republican Party principles and the people of this state.

Speaker Tobin hatched a plan in cooperation with President Pierce and establishment lobbyists and organizations that strangled the Arizona Republican Party by diverting funds to his own IE PAC.  When you follow the campaign finance reports, it is clear that, as a rule, GOP conservative candidates were viewed as pariahs not worthy of being financially supported by this Speaker and, therefore, well qualified conservative candidates lost to inferior Democrat candidates that were funded by Democrat legislative leaders. 

The $25,000 still in the House Victory Fund and the $38,000 still in the Senate Victory Fund as of this date (in addition to nearly a quarter million dollars wasted in consulting fees PLUS doubled mailing fees), could have ensured the victory of at least two more Republican Senators and three more Republican Representatives. 

The Fifty-First Legislature will officially take office next Monday.  As we go through the next four months, we must ever be mindful of the process and hold accountable those who have diminished the ability to pass strong conservative legislation.  When those times occur - and they will occur - remember the improper self-serving actions of the Yavapai Yahoos in 2012.

Why the reduced GOP Senate majority?

While Republicans still muster a majority in both houses of the legislature, the veto-proof majority is a thing of the past.  In spite of the incessant excuses injected into the mainstream media by their communications wonks, the main reason for this reduction lies at the feet of Speaker Tobin and former Senate President Pierce.  Former Senate President Pierce must take the primary responsibility for our fragile majority in the Senate.  He grabbed most of the headlines due to his outlandish actions that led to a huge amount of Republican Victory Committee funds being inappropriately spent in a primary election.  That was compounded by his failure to adequately fund races in competitive districts during the General Election.

Point one was the spending of about $100,000.00 of those funds denigrating Rep. John Fillmore and misleading voters about the "conservative" credentials of Sen. Rich Crandall (Crandall was the lowest rated Republican in either house of the legislature for the Goldwater Scorecard and fell below Democrats in the PAChyderm Coalition Rankings).   The fact that Crandall was committed to voting for Pierce for President and that Fillmore was committed to voting for newly elected Andy Biggs for President was well known at the Capital and was recognized by all the political rail birds across the state as the reason this money was being wasted in a “safe” Republican Primary.

Point two was the refusal of the Pierce Senate Republican Victory Fund to allocate any resources in Legislative Districts eight, nine and ten, all listed as “Competitive”.    Again, the core reason for the refusal to help Antenori, Mott and Ortiz was well known.  They were all committed to voting for Senator Biggs for President and Pierce was willing to jettison them and their conservative Party Platform values in favor of socialist democrats in order to enhance his re-election as Senate President.  Now the citizens of Arizona will have to endure the power of senators like Crandall, Driggs and McComish who are able to prevent passage of conservative Republican legislation.

Last, the evil scheme designed and carried out by Senator Pierce, Speaker Tobin, National Committeeman Bruce Ash, Super Lobbyist Kevin DeMenna, numerous other lobbyists and a long list of nefarious underlings reduced the ability of the Arizona Republican Party to have the resources to independently assist conservative candidates in the General Election.  Numerous sources have documented written correspondence and first party conversations about the system where possible donors were specifically directed to not contribute any money to the party, but to contribute to the Republican Victory Fund and the House Republican Victory Fund.  The irony of this particular action is that the very people who pressured donors to not contribute to the Party are the very same people who then criticized the Party for not having raised enough money to make more of an impact in the General Election.  Worse than hypocritical, this is Chicago gutter politics treachery.

Ridiculous protestations by Sen. Pierce that he had no control where the money was being allocated fit the “fell and broke my *** laughing” category.  Pierce takes credit for raising the money, selected the Chairman and Treasurer of the “Committee” and was the only obvious beneficiary of expenditures made during the Primary and General Elections. 

Every bill that is in conformance with our Republican principles that fails to get the necessary 16 votes in the Senate should be laid directly at the feet of Senator Pierce.  Arizona deserves better, Constitutional conservative legislators deserve better, the Party deserves better, and the hard working Precinct Committeemen and other volunteers deserve better.

 

2013 A new page for the AZGOP

2013 will bring new leadership to both the Arizona Republican Party and the Maricopa County Republican Committee. What that will look like is yet to be determined and whether the changes will be an improvement or not will not be known for many months.

2012 was very turbulent and it would be nice if the new year would bring stability but we are not hopeful that will be the case. It appears that the grass roots have been successfully split by the powers on the second floor of the legislature and the ninth floor of the Capitol Tower.

We must all be alert of those who speak of their conservative principles when their work product does not match the rhetoric. It is important that each Precinct Committeeman and State Committeeman do their homework and properly vet each candidate. Blindly following others who may have vested personal interest in the outcome is guaranteed to result in catastrophe.

The Secretary of State campaign contributions filings and the Federal Elections Commission financial records would be the first places to research the candidates. Where a man (or woman) puts their money is one of the best indicators of where their heart is.

2012 - The Beginning or The End?

All of the above are at a tipping point this year.  YOU can make the difference.  We don't need more meetings, more people being 'involved', or more circular firing squads.

If we are to win this war for the American Way, it will take a strong COMMITMENT to the battle by people who are willing to give up everything, instead of using the system to enhance themselves.

Remember, in a bacon and eggs breakfast, the chicken is involved while the pig is committed.  Are you willing to sacrifice all to restore our country to the values enshrined in the Constitution?

Reince Priebus new RNC Chair

The Wisconsin Republican Party Chairman, Reince Priebus has been elected as the new Chairman of the Republican National Committee on the seventh ballot.  Mr. Priebus led on every ballot, and increased his vote total on every ballot that culminated with 97 votes.  The Committee later unanimously approved his selection by acclimation.


The former Chairman, Michael Steele, dropped out after the fourth ballot as his support waned on every ballot from 44 on the first ballot to 28 on the fourth. 


Mr. Priebus has a record of suporting the grass roots activists, working closely with AFP, Tea Party and other conservative organizations in what has traditionally been a blue state.  Under his leadership, the GOP won the US Senate Seat (defeating Russ Feingold of the notorious McCain-Feingold law), the Governorship, six of the Congressional seats and both houses of the Legislature.

Today's Maricopa County Statutory Meeting at the El Zaribah Shrine Auditorium, was the site of an overwhelming Conservative victory in the election of Republican Party Leadership for the next two years.  Incumbent Chairman Rob Haney defeated newcomer McCain supported candidate Bill Cheatham by the largest margin in recent memory. 

The winning margin of more than 700 votes, 1281 for Haney to 575 for Cheatham, should be a message that should at long last be accepted by the big government, amnesty loving, left wing of the Party that they are not in step with the majority of Republicans in this state. 


If those who advocate for bigger government, ceding of states rights, amnesty, socialized medicine, abortion rights and homosexual rights want to continue in the political arena, perhaps they should follow the advice of President Ronald  Reagan:

"A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs, which must not be compromised to political expediency or simply to swell its numbers.... And if there are those who cannot subscribe to these conservative principles, then let them go their own way."

Misplaced finger pointing

"Unintended consequences by one's actions do come home to roost.", states Wes Harris, in a visceral diatribe against Rob Haney. It is unfortunate that Mr. Harris makes accusations against one of our greatest patriots in Maricopa County. It is nearly surreal considering the fact that Mr. Harris has done little more than create disharmony and conflict in his short time in the Party.


Lets see if we can help Mr. Harris. It is the right, no, the DUTY of every conservative Republican to bend every effort supporting the conservative candidate on the ballot - General AND Primary.  Rob Haney has a clear and consistent record of fulfilling that duty.  Every conservative registered voter - including Precinct Committeemen - should do likewise. To do less would be an abrogation of the values that true conservatives espouse.


Going further, Mr. Tom Husband has gone on record challenging you to substantiate that Mr. Haney used his office title to endorse or support any candidate in the Primary.  You have failed to provide such documentation, since there is none available.  NOTE:  No Precinct Committeeman or Party Elected Official is required to give up their Freedom of Speech rights in order to serve.

We are surprised about one thing you allege Mr. Haney did. For him to converse with you in a pleasant manner is more than you deserved.  Maybe that is due to the fact he was not surprised at your baseless charges considering your actions since you stumbled out into the political arena in an obvious effort to promote yourself.


You can be comforted by the fact that your actions will not be laid at the feet of the Tea Party. No one of import has looked at you as a bonafide representative of the Tea Party for many months. 

We are especially mindful of the fact that this attack comes less than 24 hours prior to the Statutory Meeting.  Exactly how much are you under the influence of the RINO/Chamber functionaries - as much as Ms Bolick, who raised much of her campaign funds from that particular group?

If you are going play politics, you should at least learn the basics of the game before you try your hand at intrigue.

TSA Methods Will Kill More Americans on Highway

The recent public ire toward the TSA’s new pat-down and body imaging screening methods is likely to lead to a spike in car-related deaths that will be far larger than any plane-related safety benefits.

As the nation readies for one of the busiest traveling holidays, Steven Horwitz, a professor of economics at St. Lawrence University, states that the probable spike in road travel, caused by adverse feelings towards the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) new screening procedures, would lead to more car-related deaths.  

Car-related accidents now account for 115 deaths EVERY DAY in the United States.  That is comparable to the crash of one commuter airliner daily!


“Driving is much more dangerous than flying, as you are far more likely to be killed in an automobile accident mile-for-mile than you are in an airplane,” said Horwitz. “The result will be that the new TSA procedures will kill more Americans on the highway.”


Clifford Winston, a senior fellow of economic studies at the Brookings Institute, said that the airline industry will definitely see a decline in passengers if the public’s contempt for the pat-downs and advanced-imaging technology systems continues.

Anecdotally, a friend of ours who usually flies for family and personal reasons once every couple of months, has already made the decision to not fly as long as these procedures are in place.

So, we will have a negative impact on our economy AND we will end up killing more Americans. Sounds like a success story for the Soros, Obama, Napolitano Progressive Communists.

We have missed the photo ops of the First Family going through the TSA Groping.  We do not ever want to see the naked scans of B. Hussein, Michelle or their Progeny.  That would probably make us go instantly blind.

This embarrassingly stupid assertion goes along with his call for redistribution of wealth - except for him and his friends and his call for a reduced carbon footprint - except for him and his friends.

His narcissistic, irrational policies - especially when implemented by Nappy - really does call for a law that requires the people who institute public policy to have to be the first to use it.

It appears that the President has failed in his billion dollar mission to restore his tarnished image.  On November 2, the policies of Barack Hussein were repudiated by his foster countrymen with a thorough shellacking at the ballot box.  Americans made the right choice in turning out nearly seventy Democrat Congressmen along with the governors of almost all of the midwestern states plus a few more for good measure.


For comfort and reactualization of his ID, Barack Hussein returned to his boyhood homeland.  To his dismay, this journey became the location of his second shellacking in two weeks at the hands of his muslim, sino and european friends.


Sometimes a boy just doesn't know where to turn for repair to his ego.  Maybe he should try the country that calls him their son - Kenya.  It may prove once again that all of life is a circle.

Procrastination will only make the problem worse

Arizona is 900 million dollars in the hole and getting deeper. Our General Fund revenues are about a 100 million dollars a month less than our expenditures. That is about 25 million a week. What that means is the legislature needs to come in NOW and reduce the budget by at least 1.5 billion dollars.

Every day agencies are spending money we don't have. The longer we wait to do the cuts, the less money there will be to fix the problem.  We have agencies that are still bloated with administrators and managers.  We have agencies that were created in good economic times that are duplications of other layers of government or intrude into areas previously handled well by private industry .

Arizona needs to put a five year moratorium on any new regulation by state and local government that restricts business. This moratorium needs to retroactively include many state, county and local regulations that were conceived as hidden tax raising schemes on Arizona businesses and homeowners over the last decade.  All regulations not directly addressing health and safety, that restricts home businesses need to be eliminated.

It is better to see street signs trying to attract customers into a business or store than all these empty storefronts and office buildings. It is better to have someone running a business out of their house than have all these empty foreclosures and "For Sale" signs up and down every street.

City ordinances that require developers to establish an HOA on all new developments need to be rescinded and current property owners need the ability to rescind their current HOA status.  Government must get out of the way if we are to get our economy growing again.

Waiting only makes it worse.

Hess is actually gaining ground.  His percentage has grown from 1.67% to 2.16% in the last eight years.

And bear in mind, this is a state with 4.6 million registered Democrats and only 4 million registered Republicans (plus 2.2 million independents). Something big might be happening down there — it’s at least clear that the state GOP has been working on its early vote operation.


Not fatal, but not good news for Alex Sink, the Democratic nominee in the close governor’s race. Also not good news for Democratic Reps. Alan Grayson, Suzanne Kosmas, Ron Klein, or Allen Boyd. Nor for Joe Garcia, the Democratic nominee for the open 25th Congressional District in South Florida.

Pennsylvania: The latest absentee ballot statistics released show a strong Republican tilt in the Keystone State where 53,226 (59%) absentee ballots have been returned by registered Republicans compared with 37,631 (41%) by registered Democrats.

Worse still for Democrats, the enthusiasm gap pollsters have predicted appears to be coming true. So far, Democrats have returned 55% of the absentee ballots they requested. Republicans have returned 67%.

Nevada: In Democratic Clark County, Republicans UP 13 points from a 22-point Democratic advantage in 2008. In Reno's Washoe County, Republicans UP 18 points from a 12-point Democrat advantage in 2008.

Colorado:  Republican over Democrat early returns by 61,500 this year, where Democrats were up over Republicans in 2008 by 25,000 early ballots.  That is a swing of over 86,500 to the GOP!

Today on the Chris Wallace Fox Sunday Show, Governor Palin clearly identified the cabal of liberal politicians and the liberal media in terms we all understand:

Oh that we had a thousand of Sarah Palins with the integrity and strength to tell it like it is! 

Our Founders had the ability to tell the truth with vigor.  If we are to return America to the strength we once enjoyed, we must face our adversaries and our challenges with such clarity of speech and action.

SURPRISE!!  Four days before the General Election, we get a skewed, totally misleading Unemployment Figure from the Obama Administration Department of Labor. 

Today, they touted a 21,000 reduction in Initial Claims using a Seasonally (Politically?) Adjusted Rate.

However, the actual number of Initial Claims, according to the DOL, is actually INCREASED by 11,678. 

Does it make you or your neighbor that the Obama Administration lowered the number of people filing new claims through a mathematical formula that they develop?  Is this part of the Hopey Changey thing?

How do you feel about the fact that the real percentage of Americans who want a full time job and cannot find one is actually over 20%?

Will their Seasonally Adjusted numbers somehow be revised next week -- after the Election?  (Happened more than 20 weeks this year.)

The rest of your life

It may seem overly dramatic, but the headline tells it all.  What is accomplished in the next seven days will have a dramatic impact on the rest of your life! 

If you think that is over-the-top, consider the following rights you may lose on November 2:

Your right to choose your own doctor and participate in your health decisions

Your right send your child to the school of your choice

Your right to buy the vehicle that meets the needs of your family

Your rights as a parent to nurture and discipline your children

Your right to worship where Biblical principles are not censored by the government

Your right to a secret ballot in elections

Your right to speak the truth without being imprisoned for hate speech

How important are your rights? 

Important enough to take a vacation day and spend it calling undecided voters with the facts?   

Important enough to participate in encouraging conservatives how paramount it is that they place their early ballots in the mail no later than Wednesday - only two days from now?

Look at the short list above again and ask yourself how important is it to make sure you keep those - and hundreds more - rights!

What you do in the next few hours may well determine the course your children and grandchildren will have to travel in their future.

How important is that to them?

We are ten days out and it is past time to cease the "greet, meet and retreat" groups where we talk about politics. The members of the audience are already involved and know the problems of the system, the good and bad candidates, and how they are going to vote.


Our candidates need boots on the ground and voices on live phone lines to push Republicans to return their early ballots NOW. As of this writing on early Saturday morning, less than one-third of Republican early ballots have been returned. We will NOT defeat Kirkpatrick, Hulburd, Mitchell, Grijalva and Giffords for Congress, nor Johnson, Schapira, Rios, Aguirre, Alvarez and Cage for the State Senate unless those ballots are completed and returned on time!

Goldwater, on the second floor, south side of the building. You'll see the signs. The calls you make there will also help turn our legislature into a veto-proof majority.


Of course, David could use some cash to counter the scurrilous Democrat Committee attacks, but more importantly he needs YOU to schedule time to make personal phone calls encouraging Republicans to return their early ballots.


There are more than 50,000 Republican ballots not returned in CD5 in Maricopa County alone as of this writing. If those ballots are returned, we will have an unprecedented increase in conservative Republicans in our legislature and will ensure the retirement of Mitchell, Hulburd, etal.


So lets stop the partying and socializing until after 7pm on November 2. The real party will begin when the work is done.
